The Excitement of a fast approaching holiday can take over your whole schedule. Wondering what to pack, and what you need to bring for the holiday can be a stressful part of this. So today, i’m gonna give you all my Tips and Tricks on how to pack for a holiday.
Tip Number 1- One of the first things i would do whenever i am going on holiday is to check the weather of the place i am going, even if you are going to somewhere warm, it is still important to check the weather as it still may be a bit chilly, so packing only shorts may not be a good idea.
Tip Number 2- Think about how long you are going for and what activities you are going to get up too and write a list of what exactly you will need. This helps to prevent over packing and stops you from forgetting to pack important items.
Tip Number 3- Start by packing all of the essentials that way you can see how much space you have left for non-essential things like an extra pair of shoes. Tip Number 2 should help you identify what your essentials are.
Tip Number 4- Depending on where you are planning to stay, there may or may not be a washing machine; so it may be a good to pack a small carrier bag (which won’t take too much room in your suitcase) that you can use to keep dirty clothes in. This way you won’t be mixing your dirty clothes with your clean clothes.
Tip Number 5- The last thing you should always do when you are finished packing everything into the suitcase is way it! The last thing you want is to get to the airport and have to pay a fine because your suitcase is overweight. Also when you are first leaving for a holiday you should always aim to have a good proportion of space and weight left in your suitcase for bringing stuff home.
Tip Number 6- If your shampoos, conditioners, and other liquids are too big for the liquid limit. Then consider putting them into smaller containers that can be purchased basically anywhere, you can normally pick them up for as €3 or €4 and even come in a small bag to keep them all together.
That’s all for today folks! If you yourself have any Tips and Tricks that you would like to share please got to my Facebook Page and message me or comment on my recent post 🙂
